August is the perfect time for a late-summer refresh—especially with the milder summer temperatures. This month, we’re highlighting a backyard retreat where we revived a stamped-concrete pool deck, paver walkway, and patio using biodegradable detergents, professional surface cleaning, and careful low-pressure rinsing for a uniform, swirl-free finish. On the commercial side, an unexpected oil spill caused a time-sensitive and challenging crisis for a busy trucking yard. Learn how our team was able to handle the matter quickly. And don’t miss our Employee Spotlight on Manny, whose steady work ethic and customer focus make every job smoother. If your home or facility is battling algae, stains, or oily traffic lanes, now’s a smart time to act before fall weather sets in—schedule your project today! This stunning property featured a stamped-concrete pool deck, a concrete-paver walkway, a lower-level areaway with concrete stairs/landing, and a patio with a masonry fireplace and brick inlay. Surfaces showed typical seasonal buildup, including : embedded dirt and stains, dark film on shaded edges, and heavy green algae. Our team pre-treated all hardscape with a biodegradable detergent to break down organic growth. The areas were cleaned with a professional surface cleaner for an even, swirl-free finish, then detail-rinsed with low pressure to protect joints, coping, siding, and fixtures. The concrete steps and landing, transformed from green and slick to bright and safe underfoot. The pool deck returned to a clean, uniform tone with crisp grout lines. Paver walkway and patio revived their natural color contrast; the brick inlay reads sharp and defined. When a storage tank overfilled and discharged into a combined space, oil spread across the fueling lanes of a high-traffic 18-wheeler gas station. Every hour it remained, trucks drove through the sludge and tracked it across the lot—escalating slip hazards, staining, and downtime. Our crew mobilized immediately with commercial-grade equipment, products, and experienced technicians. We isolated the area, deployed absorbents and containment, and pre-treated with an eco-responsible degreaser. Using hot-water surface cleaning, we removed heavy residues from aggregate concrete and asphalt. The fast response to clean up meant that the oil and film were eliminated, and operations could return to normal quickly. We hope your business never experiences an emergency like this, but should the unthinkable happen, our team has the experience and equipment necessary to handle the situation.

February in Richmond brings unpredictable weather, as evidenced by our recent ice storm. But even without the drastic storms, we still experience fluctuations between freezing mornings and sunny, spring-like afternoons, and everything in between. While spring may feel close, winter buildup is still quietly impacting your outdoor spaces. Moisture, organic growth, and debris continue settling into roofing systems, siding, and concrete surfaces. Left untreated, these conditions can shorten the...
As we kick off the new year, many outdoor surfaces begin to tell the story of the months behind us. Shade, moisture, fallen leaves, and limited airflow can quietly take a toll—especially on wood decks, steps, and walkways that are used year-round. This month, we’re highlighting a residential project that’s a great example of how thoughtful cleaning can completely reset an outdoor space without aggressive methods. You’ll also find a commercial project update and tips on what services to...
