We're halfway through the year, and with the heat outside, it's the perfect time to check some items off that honey-do list...especially for your outdoor spaces! In this edition, we are spotlighting two transformations that reflect the power of precision pressure washing. Plus, don’t miss our June spotlight to meet the leaders behind the results. Our team tackled dirt, weather wear, and organic staining on the stamped concrete surface, paying special attention to areas around the fire pit and hot tub to ensure a consistent and thorough result. Using a soft wash pre-treatment and detailed power washing, we restored the original tone and texture of the stonework. Once thoroughly cleaned and dry, our team applied a high-quality sealer to protect and enhance the patio's appearance. Clean and ready to enjoy, this backyard is now back to its best. 📢 OWNER SPOTLIGHT 📢JAMES HERBERT AND CURTIS GALBRAITHEnvirowash began in James Herbert’s garage, with a single converted U.S. Postal Services truck and a 4 GPM (gallon per minute) pressure washer. Power washing gave him visible results from a hard day's work, and combined with his passion for clean air and water, he founded Envirowash. “I hate polluted water and dirty air; I have a real love for the environment,” Herbert says. “Unless it’s the law, no one wants to be environmentally responsible, because of the price tag. But change is coming faster than we think, and we’re ready.” Curtis joined the team in 2018 and quickly proved himself invaluable. In 2023, he became a part-owner. Today, he’s focused on guiding company growth, connecting with clients, and recommending solutions that protect and enhance properties. With Curtis focusing on helping residential and commercial clients, James continues in a visionary and mentoring role. Together, their leadership reflects both roots and evolution—staying grounded in values while reaching for what’s next.

If your car is already turning yellow, you’re not imagining it—pollen season has arrived early in Richmond. It's easy to notice on windshields, but the real buildup is happening on your home and property surfaces. Brick, patios, walkways, and entry areas are some of the first places to collect pollen, moisture, and organic debris. Left untreated, this buildup can dull surfaces, create slippery conditions, and even contribute to long-term staining. This month, we’re highlighting two projects...
February in Richmond brings unpredictable weather, as evidenced by our recent ice storm. But even without the drastic storms, we still experience fluctuations between freezing mornings and sunny, spring-like afternoons, and everything in between. While spring may feel close, winter buildup is still quietly impacting your outdoor spaces. Moisture, organic growth, and debris continue settling into roofing systems, siding, and concrete surfaces. Left untreated, these conditions can shorten the...
As we kick off the new year, many outdoor surfaces begin to tell the story of the months behind us. Shade, moisture, fallen leaves, and limited airflow can quietly take a toll—especially on wood decks, steps, and walkways that are used year-round. This month, we’re highlighting a residential project that’s a great example of how thoughtful cleaning can completely reset an outdoor space without aggressive methods. You’ll also find a commercial project update and tips on what services to...
