As we enter the holiday season, we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting our customers with clean, well-maintained outdoor spaces. This month’s newsletter highlights a few projects we’re especially proud of—a roof and driveway refresh at a residential home, and our exterior cleaning work on the historic Jefferson Building in downtown Richmond. You’ll also get to know Kay, the steady force behind our HR support and someone who plays a big role in keeping our team strong and connected. As many people prepare to hang Christmas lights, it’s also a great time to give your home a quick wash so those decorations shine a little brighter. Thank you for spending a few minutes with us! Don’t forget to take advantage of our winter special when scheduling your next service. Roof RestorationThis home had a roof that was showing heavy staining, moss, and dark streaks, which happens over time for properties with a lot of shade. After a careful soft wash, the shingles cleared up, and the original color returned, giving the house a much cleaner look. We also took care of the driveway and walkways. They had built up grime that made the concrete look worn and uneven. Once cleaned, the surface brightened, and the entrance felt much more inviting. The home's refreshed roof and concrete work together to lift the whole exterior. It’s a perfect example of how regular cleaning can go a long way in keeping a home looking sharp and extending the life of its materials. Jefferson Building—Richmond, VAThis month, we’re featuring our exterior cleaning work at the Jefferson Building in Richmond. The building’s façade had picked up a fair amount of city grime over time, especially across the upper floors where dirt and pollutants tend to settle. Our crew used a suspended platform system to access the full height of the structure, allowing us to wash each section safely and evenly. Check out the video!
Working from top to bottom, we removed buildup that had dulled the stone and darkened the surface. The difference is clear in the before and after photos. The lighter tone of the stone now stands out again, and the building’s details are much more visible. The refreshed look blends seamlessly with the surrounding skyline and restores the bright, clean appearance the Jefferson Building is known for. Projects like this require a careful approach, steady coordination, and the right equipment, especially in a busy downtown area. If you’re planning an exterior project, contact Envirowash. Our team can take it from here—the skyline’s the limit!

Spring has arrived, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to refresh your home and property after the wear of winter. Pollen, moisture, and debris can take a toll on exterior surfaces, making this one of the most important times of year for a thorough cleaning. A professional cleaning removes these contaminants safely and prepares surfaces for additional services like sealing or staining. Starting early in the season helps prevent deeper staining and keeps maintenance manageable...
If your car is already turning yellow, you’re not imagining it—pollen season has arrived early in Richmond. It's easy to notice on windshields, but the real buildup is happening on your home and property surfaces. Brick, patios, walkways, and entry areas are some of the first places to collect pollen, moisture, and organic debris. Left untreated, this buildup can dull surfaces, create slippery conditions, and even contribute to long-term staining. This month, we’re highlighting two projects...
